Shorter Finds a Call to Double Off Hughes
Level 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
"Put in the report that he said f**k," Daniel Hughes said after he moved all in from the cutoff on a board of 3♥10♣9♥8♥. Cale Shorter was in early position and tanked for several minutes before another tablemate called the clock. Shorter eventually called for his last 35,500.
Hughes turned over 7♦6♠ for a straight, but Shorter had a higher straight with Q♦J♠. The river was the Q♥, and Shorter doubled up. "I should've waited until the river," Hughes added.
