Ferguson Fills Up to Double Off Katragadda
Level 9
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Ernest Doyon raised to 3,000 in middle position and was called by Joseph Ferguson in the hijack, Daniel Hughes in the cutoff, and Pavan Katragadda in the big blind.
"This is what we call an Oklahoma heads-up," Hughes said heading to the 6♠5♥Q♦ flop. Katragadda then led out for 6,000, and Ferguson raised to 15,000. Only Katragadda called.
Katragadda then moved all in on the Q♣ turn, and Ferguson snap-called for 35,000. Katragadda showed Q♠9♣ for trips, but Ferguson had K♠Q♥. The river was the K♦, and Ferguson improved to a full house to secure the double up.
