Ramirez Finds an Early Double
Level 1
: Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Three players went to a flop of 9♦5♣2♦ where the cutoff bet 1,000. William McCracken called on the button, while Vincent Ramirez then raised to 6,000 in the big blind. Only McCracken called.
The turn was the 10♥ and Ramirez moved all in for 21,000. "Alright," McCracken said after tanking for a minute, sliding forward the chips to call. He turned over K♦Q♦ for straight and flush draws, while Ramirez had 8♦5♦ for a pair and flush draw.
The river 7♣ was safe for Ramirez, and he doubled up.
