All four players checked the 8♥4♣Q♦ flop, and Elwood then bet 2,600 on the 3♣ turn. Only Hancock called. Elwood then bet 6,000 on the 8♠ river, and Hancock again called.
"I missed," Elwood said, and Hancock showed 9♠9♦ to win the pot.
