Courtois Smacks the Flop to Bust Schuh in Massive Pot
Level 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Around 50,000 was already in the middle as Noel Schuh, Samuel Courtois, and Derald Neugebauer went to a flop of 3♣J♥Q♠. Schuh then moved all in for 30,000 in middle position, Courtois reshoved in the hijack, and Neugebauer folded on the button.
Noel Schuh: K♦K♣
Samuel Courtois: Q♦Q♣
Schuh turned over two kings, but Courtois had spiked top set to take the lead. The board ran out 8♥3♥, and Courtois took the massive pot to send Schuh to the rail.
"That's a shitty way to go out," Courtois consoled Schuh after the hand.
