Tate Tests His Luck Again
Level 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Nicholas Guglielmo raised to 2,500 in the hijack and Arturo Toscano three-bet to 7,000 in the cutoff. Toran Tate then moved all in for 14,700 in the small blind.
The action was still on Guglielmo while Toscano grabbed some of his stack and held it over the felt. Guglielmo eventually folded, while Toscano then put in the chips.
Toran Tate: Q♥J♦
Arturo Toscano: K♦Q♠
Toscano had Tate dominated as the flop came 10♠9♣5♦. The turn was the A♦, and Tate spiked a straight on the 8♦ river to win the pot and double up yet again.
A tournament official came over and gave Toscano a three-hand penalty after the hand.
