A player under the gun raised to 1,200 before Steven Burke put in his last 3,000 from early position. Mark Lafata then reraised to 4,800 on the button, and Dale Whiteside and the under-the-gun player all called.
Lafata bet 13,000 on the Q♠2♦5♠ flop, and only Whiteside called. Both players then checked the A♣ turn, and Whiteside moved all in for 10,000 on the 7♥ river. Lafata took a minute before folding.
"I got the nuts," Whiteside said as he turned over 4♣3♣ for a straight. Burke mucked K♠Q♦ as he headed to the rail.
"That's why I called with that bullshit. I knew where you guys were at. I wanted to be on the other side," Whiteside said.
