Quintin Sargent raised to 11,000 under the gun before Arlan Morse three-bet to 22,000 in early position. Daniel Lowery called in middle position, while Joseph McCaig called all in for 20,000. Jeff Copeland also called, as did Sargent.
Morse then moved all in for 140,000 on the K♣10♥4♣ flop, and Sargent, Lowery, and Copeland all folded.

McCaig had found top pair to take the lead, and the rest of the board ran out 9♦9♠ to earn him the pot. Morse started to get up from his seat thinking he was eliminated, but the table told him to sit back down.
"I was looking at his big stack," Morse said, pointing to Lowery.
