Copeland Flops the Joint to Double Off Ferguson
Level 24
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Joseph Ferguson raised to 120,000 in the small blind and Jeff Copeland called in the big blind.
The flop came 5♥4♦7♦ and Ferguson bet 150,000. Copeland then slid forward a tower of his white 25,000 chips for a reraise, and Ferguson didn't even wait for an amount before announcing all in. "Did he say all in?" Copeland confirmed with the dealer before calling for 990,000.
Jeff Copeland: 6♦3♥
Joseph Ferguson: J♣7♥
Ferguson showed top pair, but Copeland had flopped a straight to take a big lead in the pot. The rest of the board ran out 8♦9♣, and Copeland doubled up.
