Tate's hopes of surviving the flip took a big hit when Mabe hit top set on the 9♥5♠2♠ flop. The rest of the board ran out K♠10♥, and Tate was sent to the rail.
A massive pot was developing between Jeff Copeland and Frederick Roll as around 80,000 was already in the middle while they went heads-up to the 10♠K♣6♦ flop. Copeland then bet 30,000 from the hijack, and Roll called in middle position.
The turn was the 5♥ and Copeland moved all in. Roll quickly folded, and Copeland showed A♦K♠ as he took the pot.
"That pot got big quick," Copeland said as he moved up past 300,000.

Arlan Morse bet 15,000 from under the gun on a flop of 7♦5♦10♦ and Jeff Copeland called in the cutoff. Bobby Nair then moved all in for 31,500 on the button and Morse reraised to 62,000, chasing Copeland from the pot.

Both players showed top pair, while Nair was ahead with his king-kicker. The board ran out 2♠4♣, and Morse was forced to hand over yet another double up.
After three limps in front of him, Blake Shearer moved all in for 46,500 in the big blind and only Arlan Morse called in early position.

Shearer was poised for the double up with his jacks, and Morse couldn't catch up on the A♦4♦5♣A♥7♣ board as he handed over the pot.
Joseph McCaig raised to 8,000 under the gun, Matthew Blackwell moved all in for 20,500 on the button, and McCaig called.

McCaig had Blackwell dominated with his sevens, and Blackwell couldn't catch up on the 10♣10♠Q♦6♥4♦ board as he was sent to the rail.
At the same time at another table, Rodney Spriggs was all in for his last 50,000 from under the gun and up against Bradley Stevens in the hijack.

Spriggs had run right into Stevens' kings, and the 2♣3♣4♦A♣4♥ board offered no help to earn Stevens the knockout.
Rodney Spriggs raised to 9,000 under the gun and Landon Mabe three-bet to 25,000 in the big blind. "I'm going against what the charts say. You f**k around too much," Spriggs said as he called.
Both players checked the K♣8♠2♠ flop. Mabe also checked the 5♣ turn, and Spriggs bet 33,000. Mabe then moved all in for 48,000.
"I don't think I can fold anything. I might not have any outs," Spriggs said as he called with A♥Q♣, while Mabe had J♠J♦. The river was the 7♣, and Mabe's jacks held on to earn him a double up.
Bobby Nair limped in from the hijack before Matthew Riffel raised to 10,000 on the button. Dale Whiteside called in the big blind, while Nair then moved all in for 20,000. Riffel reshoved for 45,000, and Whiteside called to put both opponents at risk.

Whiteside took the lead on the K♣7♥J♠ flop with a pair, and Nair and Riffel were down to just two outs after the 9♦ turn. They caught one of the last remaining aces on the A♠ river, and they chopped up Whiteside's chips.
"Had them right where I wanted them. Couldn't have asked for a better spot," Whiteside lamented.
