The MGM National Harbor poker room is in for a busy Saturday as players take one final shot at the championship ring on Day 1c of the RunGood Poker Series Golden Expedition Maryland $1,300 Main Event.
The last of three starting flights gets underway at 11:15 a.m. local time. A total of 143 players have entered over the first two flights, with 19 already securing their spots on Day 2. Justin Arnwine assumed his usual place atop the leaderboard and is the only player above the million-chip milestone with 1,223,000. Michael Stroman (741,000), Christopher Caruso (730,000), Casey Hatmaker (712,000), and Brandon Padula (519,000) are also among the big stacks.

The players who will try to join them today will begin with a 50,000 starting stack. Levels are 40 minutes throughout the day, with a break after every three levels. Late registration remains open through Level 9, with unlimited reentries available. The day will conclude once 12.5 percent of the field remains.
Today’s flight is expected to be the biggest yet as the field approaches the $250,000 guaranteed prize pool. The remaining players then return tomorrow for Day 2 at 12:15 p.m. The action will pick up at the earliest finishing time from one of the opening flights, which currently stands at Level 15 with blinds of 4,000/8,000 and an 8,000 big blind ante.
