Germany Shows Winner
Level 1
: Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Ron Germany started the action with an open to 600 from the hijack, but Preston McEwen wanted to play for more. McEwen opted to three-bet to 2,200 from the small blind. Germany made the call.
McEwen continued for 1,500 on the J♥8♠3♦ flop. Germany was undeterred and made the call.
Both players checked through the 6♥ turn and the Q♣ river to go to a showdown.
Germany tabled A♠J♣ for a pair of jacks to claim the pot as McEwen mucked his hand.
