Karasoulis Bids Adieu to Hoang
Level 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Binh Hoang opened to 3,000 from under the gun and got only one caller in the form of Mihail Karasoulis, on the button.
The 10♠6♣4♥ flop led to a continuation bet of 5,500 from Hoang. Karasoulis made the call.
Hoang shoved for his remaining 10,800 on the 3♦ turn. Karasoulis put in the call to put Hoang at risk.
Binh Hoang: K♦9♦
Mihail Karasoulis: 8♥7♥
Hoang only had king-high, but it was good with one card to go, as Karasoulis was chasing a straight draw and had outs to a pair to win the hand.
The 7♣ river was one of those outs, as Hoang was eliminated when Karasoulis improved to a pair of sevens to secure the pot.
