Carollo Wins Skirmish Versus Rocquin
Level 8
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
The hand began with an open to 1,200 from the cutoff. Dominic Carollo opted to three-bet to 2,900 on the button in response. Christian Rocquin joined with a call from the big blind before the cutoff folded.
Both players checked the A♦10♠Q♠ flop to bring the 8♠ turn. Rocquin checked again, but Carollo chose to bet 2,000 on the turn. Rocquin made the call.
The 2♦ river was checked by both players as they went to a showdown.
Carollo showed K♣10♣ for a pair of tens, which was good enough, as Rocquin mucked his hand to award the pot to Carollo.
