Double KO for Nguyen
Level 12
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
A big hand broke out when the player from early position shoved for approximately 45,000. The player in the next seat over from middle position also shoved for his remaining 104,000 in response. My Nguyen woke up with a hand and called on the button to put both at risk, as he had both his opponents covered as they went to a runout.
Early Position: Q♣J♣
Middle Position: A♣K♣
My Nguyen: K♦K♥
Nguyen had his opponent crushed as he was looking to fade any ace or too much unwelcome paint to score the double knockout.
The flop was safe for Nguyen when it came 4♠3♦6♠, keeping his pocket kings in control.
Nguyen held on the 9♦ turn, and the J♦ river was not enough to crack his kings.
