Allen Shuts the Door on Lipps
Level 11
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Corey Allen opened from middle position before Louis Lipps risked it all for 36,500 from the big blind. Allen called and put Lipps at risk.
Louis Lipps: A♥Q♣
Corey Allen: 9♠9♣
It was a flip, but not after the flop when it came 7♦9♥K♦, giving Allen middle set.
Lipps' tournament hopes would close on the 4♣ turn and 5♥ river as he was eliminated by Allen.
