Aces for Sawyer
Level 14
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Thai Cao opened to 12,000 from middle position before Brock Sawyer went all-in for 51,000 from the small blind. Cao asked for a count before he made the call, and put Sawyer at risk.
Brock Sawyer: A♠A♣
Thai Cao: A♦Q♠
Sawyer was in need of a double and picked up aces at the right time, as he had Cao's ace-queen crushed as they went to a runout.
The 6♣3♣10♥ flop did not change much, as Sawyer was well in the lead.
Sawyer would secure the double when the 7♠ turn and the 10♣ river steered clear of any pitfalls.
