Cao Eliminates Sawyer
Level 15
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Brock Sawyer shoved for his final 86,000 on the button before Thai Cao made the call from the big blind. Sawyer was at risk for his tournament life.
Brock Sawyer: Q♦10♣
Thai Cao: 4♣4♠
Sawyer gained some counterfeit outs on the 7♥8♥7♠ flop.
Cao gained a gutshot straight draw on the 5♥ turn, as well as staying in the lead.
Sawyer would not find the card he needed on the K♣ river to be eliminated late on Day 1c.
