Valore Catches Viebranz with Hand in Cookie Jar

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 200 ante

Lisa Powers made it 1,200 from early position before Richard Viebranz called from the cutoff. Michael Valore wanted to play for more and three-bet to 3,200 from the small blind. Both Powers and Viebranz called.

The Q♥10♥K♦ flop and the 6♦ turn were checked by all three players.

Valore led out for 2,300 on the 8♠ river. Powers folded, but Viebranz opted to raise to 10,000 in response.

Valore snap-called and went to showdown.

Viebranz rolled over 3♥3♣ for a pair of threes, but Valore revealed he hit the river in a big way when he tabled 8♣8♥ for a set of eights to claim the pot.
