David Berman

Robert Noel opened to 1,200 from early position. David Berman called from the cutoff. Cecil Toler joined on the button, and James Baker defended his big blind to create a four-handed pot.

The A♦Q♥A♠ flop was checked by Baker and Noel before Berman fired 3,000. Only Toler called.

The 10♣ turn was checked by both players, bringing the 7♦ river. Berman bet 5,500 and was called by Toler.

Badeaux Bops Dicesare

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 300 ante

Paul Dicesare got it in on the turn of a board that read 8♥9♣4♦Q♦ for 10,800 from the big blind. Jason Badeaux called and put Dicesare at risk.

Paul Dicesare: Q♠J♦All in
Jason Badeaux: 9♠8♣

Dicesare turned to a pair, but it was no good, as Badeaux flopped two pair. Dicesare needed to hit his gutshot or improve to a higher two pair or trips to stay in contention.

The 5♦ river whiffed on all his outs as Badeaux took down the pot.

Dicesare bought back into the tournament to buy back in for a fresh stack.

The A♠K♠5♣ flop led to a continuation bet of 8,500 from Melius. That was the end of the road for Zakarian, as he folded to yield the pot to Melius.

Anthony Teresi shoved for his final 5,100 from early position. Lisa Powers called from the hijack, but Keith Becker opted to three-bet to 22,000 from the cutoff. Powers got out of the way with a fold as Becker had Teresi at risk.

Anthony Teresi: 7♠4♥All in
Keith Becker: A♣K♣

Teresi and Becker both caught a piece of the flop, but Becker had the bigger piece when it came 6♣5♣K♥, giving Becker top pair and a flush draw. Teresi was not down and out of it, with an open-ended straight draw.

The turn gave both players a made hand when the 3♣ peeled. Teresi improved to an inferior straight as Becker smacked his flush.

The 4♣ completed the board as Teresi was eliminated.

Teresi went to the cage and bought back into the tournament to start with a fresh stack.
