Clark's Chips Quickly Vanish Against Barron
Level 2
: Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Scotter Clark bet 2,300 from the hijack on a flop of 4♠3♠J♣ and Korey Barron raised to 7,500 in the big blind. Clark called, and the 7♥ fell on the turn.
Both players checked to the 8♦ river, where Barron moved all in. "I call," Clark said, quickly putting in his last 30,000 and turning over Q♠8♠ for a pair of eights. Barron, though, had J♥J♠ for top set.
"I don't call anymore," Clark joked as he headed off to the rail as the first bustout of the tournament.
