Quintin Sargent Leads Race to the Ring on Day 2 of the RGPS St. Louis Main Event
The championship ring awaits one lucky player today on Day 2 of the RunGood Poker Series Golden Expedition St. Louis $800 Main Event.
A total of 49 players will return to the Hollywood Casino at noon local time to battle for the title. Quintin Sargent, coming off a deep run in the RGPS Joplin Main Event a few weeks ago, is the overwhelming chip leader and the only player above the million-chip mark with 1,038,000.

The fashionably-dressed Andros Ioakimides sits in second place with 682,000, while Blake O’Brien (647,000), four-time RunGood champion and ambassador Blair Hinkle (636,000), and Kyle Antonacci (596,000) round out the top five. Other players returning for Day 2 include William McCracken (484,000), Mark Lafata (457,000), Gateway Poker Classic champion Brett Hagopian (271,000), Keith Heine (247,000), Angela Jordison (205,000), reigning Player of the Year Craig Welko (196,000), Jeff Copeland (152,000), and Chris Audrain (143,000).
The four opening flights saw 407 players take their shot at claiming the ring, smashing the $200,000 guaranteed prize pool. The official list of payouts should be announced shortly after the start of play.
The action on Day 2 picks up with 10 minutes remaining in Level 14 with blinds of 3,000/6,000 and a 6,000 big blind ante. Each subsequent level will be 40 minutes. Play is scheduled to go down to a winner tonight.
