Hinkle Virtually Doubles Off McIntosh; Scofield Makes a "Nitty" Check
In a limped pot, Blair Hinkle and Aaron McIntosh checked to the turn on a board of 5♦8♦7♣9♥. McIntosh then bet 50,000 from the hijack, and Hinkle raised to 200,000 in the big blind. McIntosh called.
Hinkle then bet 480,000 on the 3♠ river, leaving only a few chips behind, and McIntosh called. Hinkle turned over K♦6♠ for a straight, and McIntosh flung his cards into the muck.
At the other table, Alexander Scofield raised to 110,000 under the gun and Jacob Tourville three-bet to 350,000 in the big blind. Scofield called, and the flop came 9♣J♠6♣.
Tourville then bet 150,000, and Scofield called. Tourville bet another 400,000 on the 2♠ turn, and Scofield again called.
Tourville slowed down and checked the 2♣ river. "I'm going to make a nitty check-back," Scofield said as he tapped the felt and turned over A♣Q♣ for a flush, and Tourville mucked.
