Keighobad Jafarzadegan limped from early position before Eric Bunch followed with a limp from the hijack. Timmy Haecker chose to raise the price of admission when he popped it to 1,500 on the button. Both Jafarzadegan and Bunch both called.
The 9♥9♠J♥ flop was checked by both Jafarzadegan and Bunch. Haecker continued for 2,200 and was called by only Jafarzadegan.
Jafarzadegan checked again on the 2♣ turn beore Haecker fired a second barrel for 2,000. Jafarzadegan responded with a check-raise all-in for 7,600. Haecker was no longer interested as he made the fold and yielded the pot to Jafarzadegan.
This hand was picked up on the turn of a board that read 5♣7♥4♥3♦ as Norman Glueckert clashed with Rodney Spriggs, with Glueckert all-in and at risk for approximately 22,000.
Norman Glueckert: 6♦5♦
Rodney Spriggs: 8♥6♥
Glueckert turned a straight, but it was a bad time to hit it, as Spriggs had already flopped the higher straight and had Glueckert drawing to a chop on the turn.
The 6♠ river did not save Glueckert, as he was eliminated by Spriggs during the second level.
Brandon Elmore limped from early position before Alexander D'Souza made it 1,000 from the next seat over. Joseph Cheater opted to three-bet to 3,200 from the big blind. Elmore folded, but D'Souza made the call.
The Q♥6♦J♠ flop led to a continuation bet of 2,000 from Cheater. D'Souza called.
Both players checked the 2♥ turn, bringing the J♣ river. Cheater got back to betting with a wager of 3,000 on the river.
D'Souza did not think long before he put out a call.
Cheater showed K♦K♥, which was good as D'Souza mucked his hand in response.
