Four starting flights saw 710 entries take their shot in the RunGood Poker Series Passport Season Atlantic City $800 Main Event, here at the Borgata Casino, Hotel & Spa. Just 87 players remain with a shot at the lion's share of the $497,000 prize pool, and they will return today at noon to play down to a winner.
Lucas Vergara starts the day with the overall chip lead after finishing Day 1b with 1,454,000. Vergara has plenty of momentum on his side after a breakthrough summer last year saw him achieve two six-figure scores within two weeks for a little over $250,000.

Vergara is most closely followed by Greg Himmelbrand, who ended Day 1c with 1,175,000. With nearly $3,000,000 in live tournament earnings and several six-figure scores to his name, Himmelbrand is one of the most experienced competitors left in the field and one to watch out for as the Main Event plays towards a final table and eventual winner.
Rounding out the top three is Alen Habib, who ended Day 1a with 1,097,000 after winning a massive flip against Nicholas Rigby late in the night. Rigby would later advance himself from Day 1c, bagging a respectable 646,000.
Some more notable players who made it to Day 2 include Andrew Porter (854,000), Travis Hartshorn (636,000), Chris Conrad (545,000), Keith Becker (498,000), Michael Linster (210,000), Eric Buchman (147,000), and Ryan Eriquezzo (106,000).
Day 2 will pick up with 18 minutes left on Level 16 and the blinds at 5,000/10,000 (10,000). Levels have increased to 40 minutes for Day 2, and the plan is to play as many levels as needed to crown a winner. There will be a 15-minute break after every three levels. Full prize pool information will be available shortly before the day begins.
