Joe Foote raised to 120,000 under the gun and John Alexander three-bet to 325,000 in middle position. Foote called, and the flop came 6♣4♦4♠.

Alexander then bet 500,000, and Foote quickly announced all in. Alexander snap-called for 925,000.

Alexander had Foote dominated, but the J♥ fell on the turn to give Foote a set. His lead didn't last for long, however, as the Q♥ came on the river to give Alexander his own set and the double up.

Travis Hartshorn raised to 85,000 in early position and Yusuf Buber called on the button. Michael Cheng then three-bet to 340,000 in the big blind, and both opponents called.

The flop came A♠7♥Q♦ and Cheng bet 155,000. Hartshorn folded, while Bubur called to see the 5♣ turn.

Cheng checked over to Bubur, who bet 360,000. Cheng called and checked the J♦ river, and Bubur bet another 775,000. Cheng tanked for a few minutes until calling.

"Good call, buddy," Bubur said, showing 9♠7♠. Cheng turned over A♥K♣ for top pair to win the massive pot. "You thought that long with ace-king?" Bubur added.

At another table, Soukha Kachittavong had shoved for 510,000 in early position and John Alexander called in the cutoff.

Alexander picked up a straight draw on the J♠10♦5♦ flop, while the 3♣ fell on the turn. The 4♦ river gave Kachittavong a set, and he earned the double up.

Porter was looking for an ace to survive, but he couldn't connect with the 7♥5♥10♦10♠2♠ board and was eliminated.

"How do you get a hand you can do that with?" tablemate David Lu said to Klein.

"There are many ways to get lucky," Klein replied.

At another table, John Alexander had opened to 90,000 in middle position and Chris DeQuatro called in the cutoff. MR then three-bet to 350,000 on the button and Alexander moved all in for 835,000. DeQuatro got out of the way, but MR called to put Alexander at risk.
