Sanders Has the Goods to Double
Level 6
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
David Sanders raised to 1,800 in early position before the small blind three-bet to 4,500. The big blind called, but Sanders then four-bet to 16,500. Only the big blind called.
Both players checked the A♣Q♥6♥ flop. Sanders then bet 5,500 on the 6♣ turn, and his opponent called.
The river was the 9♦ and Sanders moved all in for 15,300. His opponent again called. "I have a boat," Sanders said, showing Q♣Q♦ to win the pot and earn the double up.
