Tilghman Gets Even With Cheng
Level 10
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Ben Tilghman bet 5,000 from under the gun on a flop of 8♣6♣2♠ and Michael Cheng raised to 13,000 in the cutoff. Tilghman called, and the 6♠ fell on the turn.
Cheng then bet another 13,000, but Tilghman came back with a raise to 32,000. Cheng immediately moved all in, and Tilghman called for 64,000.
Cheng showed 8♥2♥ for two pair, but Tilghman had turned trips with A♦6♦. The river was the A♥ and Tilghman improved to a full house to win the pot and double up.
"We're even. Now we can all go home," Tilghman, who was on the receiving end of Cheng's double up with the nut straight earlier in the day, said.
