Wieck Finds an Ace to Double Off Barksdale

Jeremy Wieck moved all in for 55,000 from middle position, Nick Barksdale reshoved on the button, and the rest of the table got out of the way.

Barksdale was poised for the knockout with his queens, but Wieck spiked an ace on the A43 flop to take the lead. The rest of the board ran out 47 and Wieck doubled up.

Ben McCoy raised to 10,000 on the button and Ryan Phan called in the big blind.

McCoy continued for 6,000 on the 988 flop, but Phan came back with a raise to 16,000. McCoy called, and the A fell on the turn.

Phan then moved all in for 55,000, and McCoy folded. "You know what the other one is," Phan said as he showed the 4 while taking in the pot.

Crouch Gets a Timely Triple

Level 13 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Lucas Drummonds raised to 10,000 under the gun before Sam Crouch moved all in for 26,000 in the cutoff. Eric Habrich called in the big blind, as did Drummonds.

Habrich and Drummonds checked down the J62KQ flop. Habrich showed 1010, Drummonds had 44, but Crouch turned over AJ for a pair of kings to win the pot and triple up.

"Staying alive. Just when I needed it," Crouch said.
