Pengelly Doubles Through Goldsmith
Level 4
: Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Action picked up on the turn with a sizable pot brewing between Glen Goldsmith in middle position and William Pengelly in the cutoff.
With just over 56,000 in the middle and the board reading Q♥5♣A♣6♣, Goldsmith checked and Pengelly moved all in for 37,500 to put himself at risk. Goldsmith made the call.
William Pengelly: Q♣Q♥
Glen Goldsmith: A♥8♣
The river landed the 6♦ and Pengelly improved to a full house, queens full of sixes, to earn the big double up.
