Evans Scores Knockout

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

The hand began with a raise to 1,200 from the under-the-gun player. The wager was called by a player from middle position before the button called.

The small blind shoved for 2,200. Tyrone "T-Bone" Evans raised the price of admission even further when he three-bet to 5,200.

The button was the only player who stuck around with a call as the small blind was all-in and at risk.

Evans shoved on the 1097 flop to shed the button to go to a showdown against the small blind.

Tyrone Evans: JJ

Evans had the best of it, but his opponent held a straight draw as well as outs to a queen.

The 9 turn kept Evans ahead, and the A was of no consequence as Evans scooped both the main and side pot.
