Ting Chi opeend to 700 from under-the-gun and was called by the button. The small blind wanted to play for more and re-raised to 2,000. Chi called, while the button folded.

The small blind continued for 3,000 on the Q49 and Chi called.

The 5 turn prompted a check from the small blind. Chi, however, wanted to continue wagering and bet 5,500 on the turn. The small blind gave it brief consideration before they folded as Chi dragged in the pot.

Saturday to Feature Three Starting Flights

Saturday will be a busy day at Palace Poker in Grand Prairie, Texas, as the $360 RunGood Poker Series PokerNews PowerStack gears up for three starting flights as players try to punch their ticket and advance to Day 2 as they chase a piece of the $100,000 guarantee.

Day 1b featured a total of 129 entries, resulting in 16 players advancing to Day 2. Simon Britton (607,000) led the way as the top stack to advance from this flight. Jason Thompson (480,000) and John Burks (349,000) followed in second and third in chips.

Britton has earned over $600,000 in career earnings according to The Hendon Mob, but he has yet to capture an RGPS title. Britton has an opportunity to change that on Day 2 with a healthy stack to work with as he moves forward.

The first two flights combined have 228 entries with 28 players already earning their spot on the final day of play. The page will now turn to Saturday with Day 1c and Day 1d starting their flights at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., respectively. These flights will feature 30-minute blind levels.

Day 1e, the third flight of the day, is scheduled to begin at 10 p.m. This flight will differ from all the other flights before, as it will host 15-minute blind levels.

A total of 12.5%, rounded down, from each flight will be entitled to advance to Day 2. All players will begin with a starting stack of 30,000. Day 2 is scheduled to begin on Sunday, March 21, at 1 p.m.
