Winner to be Crowned in the 2026 RGPS Passport Japan
Across the first five starting days, the 2026 RGPS Passport Colossus attracted a staggering 1,420 entries and one more turbo heat followed to officially start the Golden Week in Japan. Despite the early start at 10 a.m. local time, the final flight attracted another 421 entries for the ¥15,000 (~$95) buy-in to boost the overall attendance to 1,865 entries and that smashed the attendance of the first-ever 2025 RGPS Mission RunGood Japan one year ago here at Belle Salla Takadanobaba.
During the first five starting days, 216 players advanced to the final and they will be joined by nearly 100 hopefuls from the turbo heat. Due to the enormous field size, the restart was pushed back half an hour to 2 p.m. local time and all players with chips at their disposal will be competing for their share of the $89,159.06 fixed prize pool according to Japanese gaming laws.
Throughout the first five flights, the chip leaders remained the same from Day 1a as KNT (807,000) and nakaji04 (805,000) retained their top spots. However, yesterday evening two contenders emerged right behind them in ZERO-0- (769,000) and Teddy (744,000). Below are the top ten overall without including any of the turbo heat qualifiers, which are currently bagging up their chips.

The final day recommences with level 14 and blinds of 4,000-8,000 as well as a big blind ante of 8,000. All levels will last 30-minute each to make the conclusion of the tournament a fast-paced affair. However, it will still take until the evening hours to crown a champion.
Only the top 199 spots will receive a prize in the form of player contracts with the lowest prize worth at least $161. The nine-handed final table will come with a player contract of at least $1,352 whereas the eventual winner takes home a contract worth $9,493 and the custom-made RunGood Passport Champion Ring.
