Craig Welko’s bid to become the RunGood Player of the Year will get a big boost today as he enters Day 2 as a top stack with 491,000. Others returning to the Harrah’s Pompano Beach poker room today include Charlemagne Benjamin (290,000), Corey Paggeot (253,000), and Ian Cohen (176,000).

A total of 195 players entered over the course of three starting flights. The remaining 23 players have already secured a piece of the $250,000 guaranteed prize pool. Official payouts should be announced shortly after the start of play.

The action on Day 2 picks up on Level 16 with blinds of 5,000/10,000 and a 10,000 big blind ante. Levels will be extended to 40 minutes today, then go to 60 minutes once the nine-handed final table is set.
