Bromberg Doesn't Get His Wish Against Bronstein

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Nick Rigby raised to 2,000 in early position before Marc Bronstein three-bet to 6,600 on the button. Johnny Bromberg called in the small blind, as did Rigby.

"Just don't put an ace or a king out there. That's all I ask," Bromberg pleaded with the dealer as the flop came KQ4. Bronstein then bet 5,000, and only Bromberg called.

Bronstein bet another 20,000 on the 9 turn, and Bromberg folded this time.

The next hand, Bronstein raised to 2,500 in the cutoff after a series of limps in front of him and Eric Nathan reraised to 8,500 in the small blind. Tom Macey called in the hijack, while Bronstein got out of the way.

Nathan bet 13,100 on the 785 flop, but Macey then came back with a raise to 30,000. Nathan took a few seconds but eventually folded.
