Mitchell, Benjamin Left on Fumes
Charles Mitchell moved all in for 88,000 under the gun and Walter Vanschaik called for 62,000 on the button, while the rest of the table got out of the way.
Walter Vanschaik: A♣10♦
Charles Mitchell: K♠J♦
The 4♦3♦2♣2♥Q♠ board improved neither player, and Vanschaik took the pot with his ace to earn the double up.
At the same time at another table, Kevin Hammer was all in for 124,000 from the hijack and up against Charlemagne Benjamin in the big blind.
Kevin Hammer: A♥3♥
Charlemagne Benjamin: K♣Q♦
The board ran out 7♣4♦4♥6♠4♠, and Hammer also took the pot with ace-high to double up and leave Benjamin with less than a big blind.
