In a battle between the blinds, Edward Medoff and Travis Fickes got all of their chips in the middle before the flop.

Medoff had Fickes crushed with his kings, and the board ran out A♥7♦4♣J♣6♠ to earn him the pot. The stacks were counted down, and Fickes had Medoff's remaining 85,000 covered by just 5,000.
Fickes was eliminated the next hand, while Craig Welko also busted to bring the field down to one table.

The turn was the 10♦ and Medoff bet another 40,000. Hammer again called, and the 4♣ fell on the river. Hammer then led out for 40,000, and Medoff quickly called.
Hammer showed 10♥10♣ for quads, and Medoff flashed 2♦2♠ for a full house before mucking. "Where's the rest of my pot?" Hammer wondered as he raked in the chips.
Craig Welko raised to 11,000 in the hijack, John Freidkes three-bet to 26,000 on the button, and Welko called.
Freidkes bet 25,000 on the 10♠4♥7♦ flop, and Welko called to see the 5♣ turn. Freidkes then moved all in.
Welko spent several minutes in the tank as he contemplated the decision for his last 60,000. Tablemates Ryan Bunes and Niall Costigan then played a game of rock, paper, scissors to see which one of them would call the clock. Welko allowed his 30-second countdown to nearly reach zero before sending his cards into the muck.
Marc Bronstein was down to his last 13,000 when he moved all in from the cutoff. Kevin Hammer called on the button.

Bronstein's hopes of survival were completely dashed when the flop came K♦J♦J♠ to give Hammer a full house. "No sweat," Hammer said, and the board ran out 9♦A♣ to earn him the knockout.
Matt Paul also busted at the other table.
Craig Welko raised to 13,000 under the gun and Niall Costigan called in middle position.
The flop came A♣4♣2♣ and Welko bet 8,000. Costigan then raised to 30,000, and Welko called.
The turn was the 7♥ and Costigan bet another 62,000. Welko took a minute, but he eventually folded this time.

With around 40,000 in the pot on a board of 9♦3♠9♠J♦, Edward Medoff bet 17,000 from under the gun before Kevin Hammer raised to 45,000 on the button. Medoff called to see the 6♠ river.
Medoff then moved all in, and Hammer tanked for several minutes before calling for his last 71,000. Medoff showed 10♣8♣ for a missed straight draw, while Hammer turned over A♠9♥ for trips to win the massive pot.
