Chicerit Doubles

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Guerlain Chicerit saw his stack dwindle before he got involved in a hand that put him in a positive direction.

Chicerit opened from under the gun before he faced a re-raise from the next seat over. Chicerit chose to go all-in for approximately 7,100 and was quickly called by his opponent to be at risk for his tournament life.

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Stefan Isensee

It was a wild ride last weekend at the final table of the RunGood Poker Series Passport Season San Diego $600 Main Event, and Stefan Isensee is happy he had the day off from work to make it memorable.

The local bartender was playing his first ever RGPS series at Jamul Casino Resort, and improbably came out on top from a field of 368 entries to earn his first ever live tournament win.

"It's insane, man," Isensee told PokerNews moments after clinching the title. "It's insane."

The final 45 players returned in the money for Day 2, looking to grab the largest share of the $191,360 prize pool. Isensee navigated his way through the day, entering the final table as the shortest stack before ultimately reaching a three-handed deal with William Wolf and Saba Golshan to adjust the payouts and battle for the RGPS ring.

Ace High Good

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Stephen Fraser opened to 500 from the button and was called out of the big blind by Moses Vazquez.

Both players checked through the 823 flop to bring the Q turn.

Vazquez fired 300 and was quickly called by Fraser.

The action slowed down again on the river as both players checked the 8 turn.

Fraser showed AK for ace-high, which was enough to take it down as Vazquez revealed J6 for jack high.

Vogt Picks Up Small Pot

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Kevin Vogt chose to get it started with a raise to 600 from under the gun. David Badolato called in the next seat over, and David Bridgett came along from the big blind.

Bridgett checked on the 28J flop. Vogt chose to continue for 1,200. Badolato called, while Bridgett folded.

The A turn did not slow Vogt down, who fired another 1,200. Badolato folded to yield the pot to Vogt.
