Hatfield in Search of Another Deep Run

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Josh Hatfield
Josh Hatfield

PokerNews briefly caught up with Joshua Hatfield, who finished runner-up in the RGPS Passport Tulsa Main Event at the end of January for $22,720.

When asked what he's been up to since then, Hatfield joked, "Just putting the money back into the poker community right now." He continued, "This is my first series since then, so, just trying to run good in this Main (Event) again."

Although he may not be off to the best start at this particular stop, there is still plenty of poker left to be had with four Day 1 starting flights taking place across three days.

In regard to his plans for the future, Hatfield explained, "I'm gonna try to go to Downstream, Council Bluffs, and play the Main (Event) and then Vegas."

As for most of his big score just over a month ago, he mentioned that he put most of it in the bank, a safe bet to keep his bankroll in tact for a big Spring and Summer ahead.
