Jones Comes Out the Victor in Blind vs Blind Confrontation

Action folded to the small blind who limped and Wesley Jones checked his option in the big blind to see the flop come 3♣K♠Q♥.

The small blind player paused before jamming all in and getting snap-called by Jones, sending both players to a runout with the small blind at risk.

Wesley Jones: Q♣3♠

The 4♣ on the turn gave the small blind a lot of additional outs but the 6♦ river secured the pot for Jones and sent his opponent to the rail.

Cornelius Doubles Through Paxton

Doug Paxton raised to 32,000 from under the gun only to see RunGood Poker Series Ambassador Julie Cornelius three-bet jammed from his direct left. Action folded back around to Paxton who quickly called to send both players to a runout with Cunningham at risk.

Paxton, who stated that he was on a heater, was in a strong position to send Cornelius to the rail, but when the flop came 6♦8♦2♦, Cornelius picked up a lot of outs to take the pot away and secure a double.

When the turn brought the 7♦, Cornelius made the nut flush and left Paxton drawing dead headed to the inconsequential 8♣, officially putting an end to Paxton's heater.

Jason Simon raised to 6,500 from under the gun and found a single caller in Liam Gannon from the big blind before seeing the flop come out 7♠4♥K♦.

Gannon checked to Simon who continued with a bet of 6,500. Gannon didn't waste much time in making the call to see the turn bring the K♠.

Gannon checked to Simon who bet out again, this time for 14,000. Gannon made the call once more to see the 4♣ fall on the river.

Gannon checked a third time and after a brief pause, Simon checked behind. Gannon turned up the J♣7♣, prompting Simon to send his cards into the muck.

Action folded to the button who raised to 6,000. Cory Williams called from the big blind to see the flop come 10♠8♦4♥.

Williams checked over to the button who checked back to see the 2♥ hit the turn.

Williams reached foe his stack and tossed out a bet of 4,000. The button called to see the 8♥ fall on the river.

Williams paused for a moment before checking and saw a quick check back come from the button. Williams turned over the 8♣5♥ as he said, "I thought you'd bluff at it sitting on that big stack."

The button quickly mucked, prompting the dealer to push the pot to Williams.

RunGood Poker Series Ambassador Greg Raymer raised to 4,500 from under the gun and found calls from both Wesley Jones in late position and the player in the big blind before seeing the flop come A♠8♣5♦.

The big blind checked to Raymer, who continued with a bet of 3,500. Jones paused briefly before tossing out a raise in the amount of 8,500.

The big blind seemed to have a decision as he thought for a moment and eventually made what appeared to be a pained fold. With action back on Raymer, he thought for a moment before sliding his cards out from under his trademark fossil and pushing them towards the muck, awarding the pot to Jones.
