Paul Strohm
Paul Strohm

Two players called in early position and Paul Strohm called on the button. Khoa Le squeezed to 600 from the small blind and saw two callers from an early position player and Strohm.

The players went three ways to the {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

Le opted to lead out for 1000 and got one call from Strohm.

The {7-} fell on the turn and Le led out once again for 1300.

Strohm called and both players checked the {3-Diamonds} on the river.

Le tabled {a-}{j-} which was no good against the {9-Hearts}{2-Hearts} of Strohm, who bagged flight 1A but wanted to bag a healthier stack and opted to play an additional flight.

The player in the UTG position put out a raise to 4,900. Action folded around to the blinds and saw both the small blind and Goldsmith in the big blind position make the call.

Flop:{5-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

After a check from the small blind, Goldsmith pushed forward a bet of 9,500. The original raiser wished to reinforce the he originally opened with a strong hand and pushed forward 28,000. The small blind tossed his cards to the muck and Goldsmith announced he was all in. The original raiser looked surprised and asked for a count. Finally, he made the call and cards were on their backs.

UTG/Original Raiser: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Goldsmith: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

The original raiser looked to be in shock as the {3-Spades} came on the turn and the {k-Clubs} came on the river. The original raiser made some comment that appeared to be sarcastic in nature about the strength of AJ but Goldsmith didn't respond while he stacked up his newly found chips.
