The RunGood Poker Series continues today with the $100,000 Guarantee Main Event here at Downstream. The first two flights of the $575 buy-in tournament finished Friday night and 35 players advanced to Day 2.

Phillip Teel is the current overall chip leader after bagging 269,000 late last night. Today, more contenders will take the felt looking to catch him and punch their ticket to the Sunday finale.

The third and final starting flight will get underway at Noon local time. Players will start with 20,000 in chips and will have a dozen 30-minute levels to join the other Day 2 players.

A total of 184 players have already entered and a field of about 200 is expected to come through the Downstream Casino today to try and get their hands on the first-place prize and the Signature Championship Ring that awaits the Main Event winner.

This season's theme is "Game 7" on the RGPS and the winner of each event will win a custom championship ring.

Kyle Kinder won this event last season on the RGPS and his father, Marty Kinder, bagged on Friday night. Kyle is one of the players who will be making his first appearance in the field when cards are in the air.

The final flight will begin at noon and all the photos and updates will be right here on PokerNews.com.
