First Bounties Awarded in Level 1

Level 1 : 250/500, 60 ante

Four players have been eliminated so far and "Chavez636" was the first to claim $250 in cash for his bankroll. On his current table are also Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi and "kZhh" who ran deep in the $2,000 edition yesterday.

Shakerchi and "kZhh" tangled and the former bet the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop, and another bet on the {k-Diamonds} turn forced a fold from "kZhh".

Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson also already scored a knockout and just took on "Razer2311" and three-bet big to pick up a call. On a {8-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} flop Mattsson continued for 3,277 when checked to him and did so again for 8,544 on the {q-Hearts} turn. That earned him the pot and a move to another table.

PokerStars Ambassadors In Action

Level 1 : 250/500, 60 ante
Lex Veldhuis
Lex Veldhuis

Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis opened to 1,300 and called a three-bet to 5,000 by "SeT4x4" on the button to see a flop of {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop, on which Veldhuis check-called a bet of 3,500. He also checked the {q-Hearts} turn and then faced a bet worth 5,670, which he check-raised to 17,500.

"SeT4x4" called and the {8-Hearts} river paired the board for the second time. Veldhuis now bet 24,500 and forced a fold.

Fintan "easywithaces" Hand quickly lost 10% of his stack but then got most of the chips back when his baby flush with {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} earned the pot on a four-card diamond board.

Also in action early on is Ramon "RamonColillas" Colillas.

SCOOP2020
SCOOP2020

The third day of the 2020 PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) promises plenty of action at the virtual tables and another Progressive Knockout tournament is part of the schedule. Similar to Event #02-H: $2,100 NLHE, which came to a conclusion late yesterday, Event #10-H: $1,050 NLHE will certainly attract some of the biggest names of the offline and online poker world to battle for yet another SCOOP title.

From each buy-in, $500 will be added to the bounty prize pool while the second $500 are up for grabs in the cash prize pool. A progressive bounty of at least $250 will be awarded of each player eliminated and those bounty targets will rise significantly throughout the tournament, which comes with a guaranteed prize pool of $750,000.

Each player starts with 100,000 in chips, the equivalent of 200 big blinds for the first level which kicks off at 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) with commencing blinds of 250-500 and a running ante of 60. The late registration remains open for 4h25 and during that time frame, players can fire up to two re-entries if needed.

Day 1 will concluded after 8h30 of play and then continue the following day as of 1 p.m. EST when yet another SCOOP champion will be crowned. For the entire duration of the tournament, each level will last 20 minutes and for each three levels, participants will receive an additional 10 seconds on top of their 60-second time bank.

Stay tuned right here on PokerNews for conclusive updates of the bounty action from start-to-finish.
