Beresford Out Before the Money

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

Two players busted to reduce the field to the final 72 players and enable "hand-for-hand" mode on the last nine tables.

"VzB_Poker" was all-in with the {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for two big blinds and some, and faced the {k-Clubs}{4-Spades} of "AdVictoria" in the big blind. On a {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{a-Clubs} board, "AdVictoria" turned the superior pair.

Conor "1_conor_b_1" Beresford was the second player to fall. He three-bet to 300,000 and then called the shove of Gary "quiditbear" Hasson with {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}. Hasson had an overcard with the {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and got there on the {a-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Spades}{6-Diamonds} board.

A Double for "EliteInk" and Crema

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

"EliteInk" escaped from elimination prior to the money bubble when he got it in preflop with {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} against the {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} of "Dhr. Awesome" and spiked an ace on the {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} board just before the blinds went up.

No other player busted to keep the field at 74 hopefuls. Thiago "KKremate" Crema doubled, too, when he won a flip with {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} against "boerni21" with the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}. The {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{7-Clubs} board gave the Brazilian a full house.

Big Stacks on the Bubble

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Benitez Bows Out to "Passiveaggro"

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Another big name to fall just shy of the money was Francisco "Tomatee" Benitez. The Uruguayan jammed his short stack with {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and "Passiveaggro" piled in his 1.8 million monster stack with the {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts} to isolate successfully.

On a board of {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, Benitez was drawing dead on the turn.

"Körrinho", Pablo "pabritz" Brito, Ryhor "Grisha1983" Karapanau and Artem "veeea" Vezhenkov also came up short of the money and the bubble will be imminent when the remaining 74 hopefuls return from their scheduled 5-minute break.

East Involved In All The Action

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Jareth "jareth3542" East knocked out "xKoSSSx" with {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} versus {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} thanks to a {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs} board.

He then doubled "VitinhO Dzi" when {a-Spades}{10-Hearts} could not crack {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} on a {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs} board.

However, East returned to winning ways in a huge 2.1 million pot that earned him a double knockout. IAmSoSo was at risk with {k-Spades}{10-Clubs} on the button for 234,240 and "DeuceofDuc0" ripped the small blind for 959,354, which East called for more than half of his stack.

"IAmSoSo": {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}
"DeuceofDuc0": {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Jareth "jareth3542" East: {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}

The {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs} board gave East the nutflush and a huge stack for the upcoming money bubble.

Jouhkimainen Out Before the Money

Level 19 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante

Joni "bustoville" Jouhkimainen ended up at risk with the {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts} in the hijack and he was called by "EliteInk" in the cutoff with the {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Ace-high was good enough on the {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{7-Spades} board to eliminate the Finn before the money.

Nines Run Good

Level 19 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante

In a battle of exclamation marks in their nicknames, "ULOSEMFKR!!" from Estonia was at risk with {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} against the {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} of "wisopekeno!" and the {k-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{6-Hearts}{8-Clubs} board provided none of the overcards.

Pocket nines were also the winning hand in the next big showdown when "chininhaltig" defended the big blind in a three-way pot. The {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop was checked down and "chininhaltig" check-called a bet of 42,000 by Jareth "jareth3542" East.

Another check-call for the tournament life for the last 284,210 followed on the {6-Spades} river and "chininhaltig" bowed out with {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} against the {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} of East.

More Bustouts Incoming

Level 19 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante

"xKoSSS" scored a double to more than half a million in chips when his {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} was in no danger of being cracked by the {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} of "ReWARds84" on a {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} runout.

"SinKarma" also doubled when his {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} two-outered the {k-Hearts}{k-Spades} of "walter98499" on a {q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} board.

Other notables were less fortunate as Parker "tonkaaaa" Talbot, Bertie "bigstealer" Bayley, and
Guntis "poker@luffyD" Aleskins all came up short.

Aleskins ended up second-best with {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} against the {a-Spades}{4-Spades} of Eder "edercampana" Campana in pot worth more than 1.04 million chips. In a battle cutoff versus small blind, Campana raised and called the three-bet, then called a continuation bet for 95,758 on the {6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop. Aleskins jammed the {5-Hearts} turn and was called, the {6-Clubs} river bricked off for his flush draw.
