Say Goodbye To...

Level 14 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante

Ninety-nine players remain as Level 14 comes to a close. Here's a look at some players who are no longer in contention.

Both Joaos Double

Level 14 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante
"IneedMassari"
"IneedMassari"

Hand #1: Joao "INeedMassari" Simao raised to 28,000 in early position and "xnrobix" three-bet to 77,000 in the hijack. Action folded back to Simao, who called to take action heads up to a flop of {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{k-Clubs}. Simao was first to act and shoved all in for 125,200, roughly two-thirds of the size of the pot, and "xnrobix" called.

Joao "INeedMassari" Simao: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
"xnrobix": {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

"xnrobix" was ahead with ace high but needed to fade Simao's live cards and flush draw. the turn {4-Spades} was safe, but the river {5-Clubs} gave Simao a flush and scored him the double.

Hand #2: Moments later on an adjacent table, "ross_654" opened to 31,500 in early position and Joao "Naza114" Vieira
three-bet all in on their direct left for 130,200. Action made its way back to "ross_654" and a call was made.

Joao "Naza114" Vieira: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
"ross_654": {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

Vieira faded the two outer as the board ran out {9-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} to earn him the double with queens up.

Koliakov Doubles Through Simao

Level 13 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante
Sergei Koliakov
Sergei Koliakov

Joao "INeedMassari" Simao saw action folded to him in the cutoff and raised to 26,400. Sergei "Futti18" Koliakov three-bet shoved for 296,000 on the button and action folded back to Simao, who called.

Sergei "Futti18" Koliakov: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

The flop came {7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} to keep Koliakov out in front and the turn {j-Hearts} took two of Simao's six outs away, leaving Koliakov in need of fading the four remaining non-heart kings and queens in the deck on the river. He would do just that as the river came {5-Spades} to complete the runout and score him the double, leaving Simao with under seven big blinds left. Simao doubled a few hands later, and is now at 15 big blinds with just a couple of minutes remaining in the registration period.

Kiselev Cooked

Level 13 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante
Daniil Kiselev
Daniil Kiselev

On the last hand of the previous level, Steve "Mr. Tim Caum" O'Dwyer opened to 20,000 in the hijack and Daniil "Dancer King" Kiselev three-bet shoved for 178,000 on the button. Rodrigo "Seijistar" Seiji was in the big blind and reraised all in for 404,000, prompting a fold from O'Dwyer.

Daniil "Dancer King" Kiselev: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}
Rodrigo "Seijistar" Seiji: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Kiselev hit a jack on the flop {6-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{j-Hearts} but Seiji picked up a flush draw and had 15 outs. The turn {4-Clubs} was all he would need to hit the nuts, leaving Kiselev drawing dead as the river {9-Clubs} appeared to complete the runout. With the pot, Seiji now finds himself over 600,000.

Pardo Can't Avoid Cooler To Double Reeves

Level 12 : 5,000/10,000, 1,250 ante
Juan Pardo
Juan Pardo

Juan "Malaka$tyle" Pardo opened to 20,000 in early position and action folded around to Luke "Bit2Easy" Reeves in the small blind, who called. Action was then on Rui "sousinha23" Sousa in the big blind, and he defended to take acton three ways to a flop of {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

Action checked to Pardo, who made a continuation-bet of 21,375 and Reeves check-raised to 70,000. Sousa folded to put action back onto Pardo, who came over the top for 306,000 effectively. Reeves called all in.

Luke "Bit2Easy" Reeves: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Juan "Malaka$tyle" Pardo: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}

Pardo had found his flopped top two pair had run into Reeves' bottom set. He needed the board to pair to improve, and the turn {8-Clubs} brought eight more outs to a chop. However, the river {8-Spades} paired the board to give Reeves a full house and secure the double, leaving Pardo short. A few hands later, Reeves finished Pardo off and Pardo wasted no time re-entering tournament, receiving a new stack of 250,000.

Dvoress Doubles

Level 12 : 5,000/10,000, 1,250 ante
Daniel Dvoress
Daniel Dvoress

Daniel "Oxota" Dvoress was in early position and opened to 20,000. Action folded around to "Sasuke234" on the button, who three-bet to 58,500. Dvoress four-bet jammed and "Sasuke234" called.

Daniel "Oxota" Dvoress: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
"Sasuke234": {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Dvoress found his shove had run into a monster but the flop {7-Clubs}{a-Spades}{6-Clubs} came to the rescue, giving him a pair of aces that remained out in front as the turn {5-Spades} and river {8-Hearts} completed the runout to earn him the double.
