At 1 p.m. EST, the PokerStars 2020 SCOOP-62-M: $530 Thursday Thrill Special Edition starts Day 1 and PokerNews will be there from the start to bring you all the action. The tournament has a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool which will probably easily be surpassed if any of the previous events are a good indication.
With players like Jorryt "TheCleaner11" van Hoof, Alexander "joiso" Kostritsyn, Conor "1_conor_b_1" Beresford, Owain "Sngwonder" Carey, Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph, Anatoly "NL_Profit" Filatov, Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder, Ilya "Leqenden" Anatsky, Joao "Naza114" Vieira, Sylvain "caIcuIer_" Loosli, and Connor "blanconegro" Drinan for example already winning a PKO SCOOP title in 2020, who knows if they can add another one to their collection.
The players will get 100,000 to start with the first level of the day featuring a small blind of 250, big blind of 500, and a running ante of 60. Level duration will be at 20 minutes throughout the tournament with late registration possible for the first four hours and 25 minutes. Day 1 will end after eight hours and 50 minutes before Day 2 will resume on Friday, May 14 at 1 p.m. EST.
All players start with a bounty of $250 and each time a player has been eliminated, 50% of their current bounty is awarded to the player who eliminated them while the other 50% is added to their own bounty. The minimum bounty someone can earn is $125.
