Boivin Into the Lead

Level 22 : 17,500/35,000, 4,500 ante

A preflop raising war saw "7tHEcROw7" with a four-bet jam for 1,153,224 from under the gun and big stack Thomas "MarToMchat" Boivin instantly called in the hijack.

"7tHEcROw7": {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Thomas "MarToMchat" Boivin: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

It was essentially over on the {k-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop as "7tHEcROw7" needed running diamonds or aces to avoid elimination. The {3-Clubs} turn locked things up for Boivin and that made the {q-Hearts} river a mere formality. Boivin took over the lead and became the first player above five million in chips.

Addamo Fires Three Barrels

Level 22 : 17,500/35,000, 4,500 ante

Michael "imluckbox" Addamo opened to 70,000 and picked up one caller in "golovorez777", who came along from the cutoff. Addamo bet the {10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop for 150,810, the {q-Clubs} turn for 507,500 into 530,120 and then jammed the {j-Spades} river for 1,275,863.

"golovorez777" used the time bank on the turn and called, then reluctantly folded the river.

More assorted counts can be found below.

"WRUUUUM" Out with a Boom

Level 22 : 17,500/35,000, 4,500 ante

While the pace of eliminations has slowed down, there is barely any minute without any significant pot, shove or even all-in and call.

The last two players to bust were "newguy89" from Canada and Finland's "WRUUUUM". The latter was at risk in a flip with {a-Hearts}{j-Spades} from under the gun for fewer than 20 big blinds against the {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} of Jack "Swaggersorus" Sinclair.

On a board of {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, the tens held up and 92 remain in contention.

Ben Cherif Busts in Two Hands

Level 22 : 17,500/35,000, 4,500 ante

Rachid "SkaiWalkurrr" Ben Cherif first doubled Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams when his {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} came up second-best to the {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} of Adams on a {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs} board. Down to 11 big blinds, the Dutchman open-jammed first to act and "EEE27" had an easy call in the big blind.

Rachid "SkaiWalkurrr" Ben Cherif: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
"EEE27": {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

Board: {a-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

No card in the deck except a joker could save Ben Cherif after the turn and he bowed out as the field dwindled below 100 players.

Vezhenkov and Kiselev Boost Their Stacks

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 3,750 ante

"Maxim737" clashed with Artem "veeea" Vezhenkov and the duo got it in after a flop of {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} as the former held {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a gutshot and the nutflushdraw while Vezhenkov had flopped the nut straight with the {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

The {j-Spades} turn and {q-Diamonds} river brought no change and "Maxim737" departed.

Another Russian player chipped up at the same time as Daniil "Dancer King" Kiselev took a bigger pot off "Hatrick19911".

Kiselev had raised and was called by "Hatrick19911" on the button and Jordi "prot0" Urlings in the big blind. Kiselev bet the {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop for 71,982, "Hatrick19911" raised to 196,116 and Kiselev was the only caller.

After the {3-Spades} turn, Kiselev checked and activated his time bank to reluctantly call a bet of 312,216 by "Hatrick19911". The {q-Spades} river was checked and Kiselev won the pot with the {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}.

Down to the Final 100 Players

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 3,750 ante

Michael "merla888" Gathy and Francisco "chicalltreta" Correia are separated by an ante only at the top of the leaderboard with 100 hopefuls remaining as Correia just sent Austria's "E. Aequitas" to the rail in a preflop all-in.

"E. Aequitas": {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Francisco "chicalltreta" Correia: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

On a board of {j-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}, ace-king high remained in the lead to eliminate "E. Aequitas".

Flush Over Flush Busts "caipsa"

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 3,750 ante

Calvin "cal42688" Anderson raised to 60,000 first tom act and was called three ways including Bn "Ben86" Tollerene on the button and "caipsa" in the small blind, as well as "MLS20" in the big blind. They checked around the {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop and "MSL20" bet the {10-Spades} turn for 90,000, which Tollerene and "caipsa" called.

"caipsa" shoved the {3-Spades} river for nearly 700k and "MLS20" folded whereas Tollerene quickly called with {a-Spades}{6-Spades} for the nut flush to bust "caipsa" with {9-Spades}{5-Spades} for an inferior flush.

Anderson Doubles Before the Next Break

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 3,750 ante

Calvin "cal42688" Anderson raised to 105,000 out of the small blind as "caipsa" had limped the cutoff and the Brazilian called to see a flop of {j-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts} on which Anderson ended up as the player at risk with {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for a flushdraw. "caipsa" held {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for a set and saw the board complete with the {9-Spades} turn and {10-Hearts} river.

"Dilith" was not as fortunate as his {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} found no help to beat the {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} of "E. Aequitas" on a {q-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and shortly after, the 109 remaining players headed into a scheduled 5-minute break.
