During Level 37 on Day 2 of the PokerStars 2020 SCOOP 74-M: $ 1,050 Main Event it all came to an end with 79 players making it through to Day 3 to battle it out to the final table. During Day 1, 6,038 entries were collected and before the start of Day 2, another 437 players decided to jump in for their shot at their share of the prize pool which was increased from the $6,038,000 from Day 1 to a whopping $6,475,000. After the registration period was closed, it was determined that 799 players would cash for at least $2,247 with the eventual winner walking away happy as they would be $920,067 richer which comes with finishing in first place.

Claiming the Day 2 chip lead is "Tydarax" from Austria with 21,747,150. They were also responsible for eliminating Jorryt "TheCleaner11" van Hoof when he pushed his last four blinds in with king-four suited and was called by "Tydarax" who held ace-six. "Tydarax" flopped trips to send the Dutchman on his way.

Closely following "Tydarax" in the counts is "xiaohuangzai" from China with 21,201,685 who on their road to the top also eliminated another Dutch player. Rens "Rens02" Feenstra three-bet shoved with thirty big blinds after a raise and call and was looked up by "xiaohuangzai" who held pocket queens. Feenstra's sevens didn't find anything to connect with on the board as he was sent to the rail too.

Third in the counts is Cyprus' Aris "Pokerfan89Gr" Tavris who eliminated "I.Tcacenco" to bring the day to the finish line. "I.Tcacenco" held pocket tens but Tavris had jack-four s,uited to turn the flush. Completing the top five are "GeniusMax69" (19,659,038) and "markan030700" (16,806,651).

With 79 players left, there's still loads of poker talent left. Players like Michael "mczhang" Zhang, Joao "HayashiJoão" Hayashi, Denis "aDrENalin710" Strebkov, Joao "titlinha" Gomides, Michael "merla888" Gathy, Christopher "lissi stinkt" Frank, Luis Gustavo "gkamei09" Kamei, Matheus "mpZancan" Zancan, Preben "prebz" Stokkan, Akseli "Timonpoika" Paalanen, Jon "luckyfish89" Clark, David "MissOracle" Yan, Sebastian "p0cket00" Sikorski, Matas "bebaimis777" Cimbolas, Stevan "random_chu" Chew, Laszlo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas, Matheus "zilbee" Zilberknop, Ismael "Isidinho" Bojang, Clark "snake8484" Hamagami, Pablo "elmelogno4" Melogno, Jonathan "Proudflop" Proudfoot, Luis "luisdono" Dono, Marc-Andre "FrenchDawg" Ladouceur, and Luigi "Il-Giuglia" D'Alterio are still in the running too.

But not everyone was that lucky. Rui "Silden4filho" Bouquet bubbled the Main Event when he held the shortest stack with 800 players left in the field. He limped in from the early position and kept some chips back but when Joel "Odonkor1" Nordkvist raised from the hijack, he had to call with ace-queen. Nordkvist held nines and turned a set to burst the bubble. Nordkvist himself finished in 182nd place for $4,966.

After the bubble burst, the eliminations flew all over the place. Vicent "gordon0410" Bosca, Claas "ssicK_OnE" Segebrecht, Fedor "GLITCHSYSTEM" Kruse, Daniel "Razer2311" Rezaei, Adrian "Amadi_17" Mateos, Sven "SvenCalls" McDermott, Andreas "daskalos20" Christoforou, Andras "probirs" Nemeth, Luke "Bit2Easy" Reeves, Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski, Alisson "heyalisson" Piekazewicz, Simon "C. All players are guaranteed at least $6,229 and have already been credited that amount with the next pay jump looming when there are 71 players left. When they return, they will finish the remainder of Level 30 which features a small blind of 100,000, big blind of 200,000, and a big blind ante of 25,000. Play will continue until the final table has been reached.

The action will resume at 1:05 p.m. EST on Tuesday, May 18, and PokerNews will be here for it all. Will you be there too?
