A total of 118 entrants including 38 re-entries entered the event to generate a mouth-watering $1,180,000 prize pool along with a $258,639 top prize.

The field was whittled down to 15 players, all of which were in the money after the last hand of Day 1 was dealt for at least a min-cash of $21,566.
