Some More Eliminations from Level 37

Level 38 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 32,500 ante

Level: 38

Blinds: 125,000/250,000

Ante: 32,500

"fkiw" Quadruples Their Stack in Four-Way Preflop All-In

Level 37 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 25,000 ante
"fkiw" Quadruples His Stack in Four-Way Preflop All-In
"fkiw" Quadruples His Stack in Four-Way Preflop All-In

The hand started very calmly when "DerRappler" raised from middle position to 400,000 and "IReadB00ks" flatted from the cuttoff. "Gogac sniper" was left short in the small blind and put their 534,666 chips in the middle, as did "fkiw" in the big blind for their stack of 857,223.

"DerRappler" made the call before "IReadB00ks" decided that all would be decided preflop, as they raised all-in themself, covering "DerRappler"s stack of 5,365,519. "DerRappler" called once more, and all four players had hopes of winning a bit pot.

"Gogac sniper": Q6
"fkiw": 86
"DerRappler": KK
"IReadB00ks": AQ

The flop of 847 kept everyone alive in some capacity, but on the 8 turn "fkiw" took a gigantic lead. The 2 river would mean their trips remained best, and they scooped a big quadruple-up to over 9 million chips. Meanwhile, "DerRappler" won a big side pot as a consolation prize, while "Gogac sniper" was eliminated.

Ace-High Remains Good for "HemmingWai"

Level 37 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 25,000 ante

"HemmingWai" raised to the minimum amount of 400,000 from the hijack before "xazee" went all-in for 2,583,672 chips from the next seat over. The three remaining players folded, while "HemmingWai" looked their opponent up with a call.

"xazee": J10
"HemmingWai": AJ

"HemmingWai" had the dominating hand, and it would result in "xazee"s exit as neither player could hit anything of significance on the 2Q595 board.

"RUS)Timur" Eliminated in Eight-Figure Flip

Level 37 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 25,000 ante

The action folded to Luis "luisnrd" Dorneles, who put in a raise to 400,000. "Rus)Timur" sat next to him in the small blind and made it 5,486,880 to go, their entire stack. The big blind got out of the way before Dorneles followed with a call.

"RUS)Timur": 1010
Luis "luisnrd" Dorneles: AQ

The flop left little to imagination, as AQA saw Dorneles reduce his opponent's chances to win to near-zero. Indeed, no running quads were had on the 93 runout, and "RUS)Timur" had to say their goodbyes, as did some others on outer tables.

Level: 37

Blinds: 100,000/200,000

Seven Tables Remain

Level 36 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

The action seemed to have slowed down a bit as eliminations are far less common currently. However, "Havana85" was eliminated in 57th place, leaving our 56 remaining competitors divided across secen tables.

Karmatckii's Quads Double Him Up

Level 36 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Arsenii Karmatckii
Arsenii Karmatckii

Arsenii "josef_shvejk" Karmatckii opened the action with a raise to 320,000 from early position. "StongQueenAA" was on the button and made it 816,000 to go before "Alex Shepel" put in the cold four-bet to 2,240,000 from the small blind.

Karmatckii then five-bet jammed for 3,138,851, which forced "StrongQueenAA" out of the pot. "Alex Shepel", on the other hand, put in the extra million chips and a big preflop confrontation had concluded.

Arsenii "josef_shvejk" Karmatckii: QQ
"Alex Shepel": AK

The queens were strong for Karmatckii, as he flopped top set on Q65. The A turn left "Alex Shepel" with zero percent and the Q river delivered Karmatckii a bonus four of a kind as he raked in a big double-up.

"SAMOVRAH" Has One Last Gift

Level 36 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

"RodolfoD.Santos" opened to 320,000 from the hijack before "SAMOVRAH" put in his stack of 1,564,966 from the button. "RodolfoD.Santos" put in the extra chips as well and "SAMOVRAH" threw out a tissue box to their opponent before the cards were opened.

"SAMOVRAH": 87
"RodolfoD.Santos": KK

As it turned out, it would be "SAMOVRAH" who needed to dry their eyes, as the K7226 board meant their opponent's full house had locked the pot up on the turn.

One more exit was had on this table, as well as many others on outer ones.

Astedt's Aspirations Fall Short

Level 36 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Niklas Åstedt
Niklas Åstedt

"Grekzorba" raised to 320,000 from the cutoff before Niklas "Lena900" Astedt went all-in for 2,069,480 from the button. The blinds folded and "Grekzorba" made the call to put the Swedish crusher at risk.

Niklas "Lena900" Astedt: AQ
"Grekzorba": KK

The flop brought a grim outlook for Astedt, as "Grekzorba" improved their pocket kings to a set on 95K. The turn 6 landed them the checkmark, and the river 4 saw Astedt's seat emptied.

Astedt was one of the many eliminations within the first half an hour of fast and furious play here on Day 3.
